Ron Browz Talks About Producing Nas's Ether Beat

It has gone on to be one of the best rap diss songs in Hip Hop history, but at the time, the maker of the beat, Ron Browz had no idea his beat was going to put his name in the Hip Hop history books. He was just a 18 year old Harlem kid making beats, hoping for a better life. He had no idea that 16 years later, that beat would still be talked about heavily in Hip Hop circles, and be used by Remy Ma in her diss record (shETHER) towards Nicki Minaj.

New Music: Draft Day (Drake)

Drake just dropped this new track titled Draft Day; he took a few bars to respond to Jay Z's "Mrs. Drizzy" diss line from Jay Electronica's 'We Made It' remix. He chopped up the beat for Lauryn Hill's 'That Thing' song for this one. The lines below were directed at Jay Z.





  'Just hits, no misses, that's for the married folks/tell them fix my suite up cos i'm coming home/I heard they talking crazy, I was out of town/you know they love to pop all that shit when I'm not around/but when I'm here, sssss, not a sound/y'all don't make me snap, jot it down, go in a boot and drop a body down.'



But my favorite line from the song is 'I know some somali's that say we got it, Wallahi/get us some doughnuts and coffee, we'll wait for him in the lobby.
