Official First Week Sales of A Tribe Called Quest 'We Got It From Here...Thank You 4 Your Service' Album

Legendary rap group, A Tribe Called Quest shine on the charts this week. Their latest album, We Got It From Here...Thank You 4 For Your Service is not only the highest selling rap album of the week, it is also the number one album (in any genre) in America this week. After a full week in stores, the album sold 135,596 copies first week.

T.I Shows Concern over Low First Week Sales Projections for Trouble Man

Based on first day sales, T.I's latest album (Trouble Man), which dropped 2 days ago is projected to sell between 150-175k first week. T.I has a record of selling 500k first week with his albums, so this is below expectations. Read how he reacts to this below-

"Yes," Tip said in an interview when asked if he is worried about first-week sales. "Yes. I ain't worried, I'm just concerned. I'm considering it. I'm a big dog, man. Big dogs do big dogs things. I'm sure this will be a big worry for T.I this week. Really, I think T.I started loosing that selling power when he started going in and out of jail. And then, since he has been out of jail, he has been trying to project the good guy image in interviews, and through his reality TV show with his wife. But then, he gets on songs and still talks that street ish...so I guess people are confused or something.

First Week Sales Projections Of Kendrick Lamar's "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City" Album

My predictions for this album was far off; Kendrick Lamar would definitely surpass what I thought he would sell in his first week with his Good Kid, M.A.A.D City album. Yesterday, it was projected to sell 200k copies first week, but the projections have increased, and hitsdailydouble.com are projecting his first week sales to be in the range of 225-240k. Way to go Kendrick!!!

First Week Sales Projections Of Young Jeezy's TM103 Album

I think i was way off on the earlier first week predictions i did for this album. That was back in September anyway, before the release date was pushed back to December. The album has seen many delays...but it is here now, and in grand style. Young Jeezy's TM103 is projected to sell between 200-222k in its first week. I think that's really impressive. Really, i thought the highest it would sell would be 150k. I think this means Gangstar Rap is not totally dead.

DJ Khaled Presents Ace Hood Gutta(2008), his first album sold 34,900 copies in its first week; and Ruthless (2009), his second album sold 19,700 copies in its first week.
