In case you don't know who he is, Steve
Wilkos is a retired Chicago
policeman who was chief security on the Jerry Springer show
back in the 90s. He went on to get his own spinoff show from Springer,
titled The Steve Wilkos Show in
2007.
Earlier on today, he was on Power 105.1's radio show, The Breakfast Club Show, and they got talking about the R. Kelly sexual molestation case. He went on to say that some time in the late 90s, there was talks of an R. Kelly TV show which he would have gotten a security guard role on, but he had told the people involved that if the show did come to life, he didn't want to be a part of it. And the reason why he didn't want to be a part of it was because even back then (in the late 90s), he knew R. Kelly was a child predator.
Read his words on this below...
"You know what's crazy? Our old executive producer in Chicago, they brought R. Kelly in in the late 90s they were talking about some deal about doing a show with him...This was like 1997/98. But what was crazy was I was still on the police department when I was working on Springer, and all the guys that worked under me were all cops. And we're all like...what hell is this dude doing here? Back then we knew he was a child predator. And I was like, hey man...And I was like, if anything goes down with this guy like they do a show, I don't want nothing to dow with it. Like I'm not running security. I'm not doing anything."
What amazes a lot of people is how R. Kelly has been able to keep on 'allegedly' sexually molesting these underaged girls for all these years when so many people knew he was a child predator.
