Legendary music label exec, now owner of United Masters music distribution company, Steve Stoute was with new rapper, NLE Choppa on The Breakfast Club show recently and they all got talking about the Jussie Smollett situation and how people would do anything for fame these days. They went on to talk about how females online look at how famous Kim Kardashian got after her sex-tape leaked years ago, and they feel they can also get popular from showing a little flesh here and there. He said all you see when you go on Instagram is ass.
Read his words on this below...
"We in an era were fame and talent are at odds. And people would do anything for fame. You know it don't sound ridiculous anymore that Kardashian made a sex tape. If you could have...If you know that a sextape can get you that? You're doing that all day long. All you do is go on instagram and all you see is ass. They don't make the sex tape because they don't want to get thrown off the platform. But they are doing everything to insinuate that they're lesbians or, look at my ass, or I'm selling ass, or you can get this ass, whatever. N*&gas is doing stupid sh*t too. It's taking away from talent."
This is so true. It get's to a point sometimes that I just delete the Instagram app from my phone for a couple of days. Cos, like damn! You open Instagram, and start scrolling down, and all you see is ass and tits on display. Social media in general is too sexualized these days.
