Offset talks About Negativity on Social Media

Since time immemorial, celebrities have always had to find a way to deal with negative things written about time by people, but it is worse in the 21st century because the Internet has given the average joe a voice. While before, celebrities had to worry about critics and magazine writers writing bad stuff about them, now anyone with an internet connection can hop on social media and get directly to the celebrity through his/her words. In his recent interview on Hot 97 radio with Ebro last week, one third of The Migos, Offset took time out to talk about the negative energy celebrities have to deal with on social media. He said that most times it is even your fans that say the worst just to get your attention.

Read his words below...

"We try to stay focused, cos bro, it is easy not to be focused. People say stuff that touch you bro. It's different...People would say something about your child...just to get the response. And then what's crazy to me, they be your fan. They want to do anything to just get the response...but really you don hurt somebody."

You can watch the full interview below...he starts to talk about social media around the 6 minute mark.
