Rick Ross Fires More Shots at 50 Cent in New Angie Martinez Interview

I think Ross is really asking for it. This is the second time he would be taking shots at 50 Cent this month. The first time was during his interview with the Breakfast Club Crew (Charlamagne, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee), and now he is taking more shots at 50. It is surprising, cos their beef was in 2009, 6 years ago, and after that year, Ross never really said much about 50 again...whether or good or bad, even though 50 kept saying a lot of disrespectful things about him in interviews and all that. Anyway, Angie Martinez and Ross were having a discussion about Ross's past beef with 50, and then Ross asked her...

"How you felt when he (50 cent) filed bankruptcy?" Angie beat around the bush, and then said she felt he did it so as not to pay the people that won the various suits against him, and then Ross continued with..."You think Jay Z would have filed bankruptcy? You think Puff Daddy would have filed bankruptcy to not pay? You think Jay Z would have filed bankruptcy? You know what bankruptcy is? That's when its...everything you've ever worked for. That's your whole name. That's your brand...You walking away from it saying...That's it" (Angie Martinez Interview on Power 105.1)

Rick Ross has a solid point here. I always used to ask people online the same question when they say 50 Cent made a smart move to not pay the 10s of millions of dollars he is owing people. Do you think Jay Z would have done that? That would be his brand down the toilet. 50 Cent paints this picture like he has $100 million in his backyard, and he is super rich on Jay Z and Puffy's level, why would you file bankruptcy and jeopardize messing up the brand that took you more than a decade to build. It's like people don't know about the importance of branding, and the millions of potential businesses that would be lost when a brand is dented. And people should stop saying Donald Trump files for bankruptcy all the time. First of all, 50 is nowhere near Trump's level of wealth. And secondly, Trump never files bankruptcy as Donald Trump the brand, but for his his businesses, which he makes separate entities from himself. There is a big difference here. A very big difference.

Sure 50 Cent is far from poor, but he definitely isn't as rich as people think he is...He is not as rich as when he sold Vitamin Water to Coca Cola.
