Update on Kendrick Lamar's Sophomore Album

The whole Hip Hop world is waiting on the golden child's second album. Kendrick Lamar has been been real quiet about the follow up to critical acclaim first major label release, Good Kid MAAD City. The latest info on Kendrick's sophomore release is that Legendary producer, Pete Rock (who worked on Nas's Illmatic 20 years ago) is going to be contributing to the project.

Check out what Pete Rock had to say about working on Kendrick Lamar's sophomore during a recent XXL Interview.

“I did some scratching and I’m on the hook on one of his songs on his album. I’m really excited about that. It’s just a regular hook. I can’t really sing it to you. You’re just going to have to hear it.” (XXL Interview)

Kendrick can't go wrong at this point in his career, but I wish he would drop the album ASAP! GKMC is going to be two years old in two months time, and his fans really need something new from him. And i trust him to deliver top quality music.
