Rick Ross Speaks on Maybach Films

Rick Ross's about to branch out into the movie industry with his new company, Maybach Films. I think this is a great idea, and I don't think it would be just about hood stories. I know his in-house video director, Dre Films is a very creative dude. He shoots must of all Ross's videos, and videos of all the artists on MMG. In a recent interview with DJ Skee, Rick Ross let the world know that Maybach Films was going to start shooting its first movie before the end of the year. Below is a picture of Ross and his video director at MMG, Dre Films.

“We just finished writing our first film. We’ll be giving you a lot more details about it real soon. But yeah, we just putting the final touches on this movie, which we plan on filming before the year is out. So, you can expect it early next year. I think this gon’ be a game changer. Huge. I think we gonna change the game and I think it’s gonna be real dope. You know? So, it’s gonna take the team to that next level.” (DJ Skee Interview).

During an interview about two month ago, Steve Stoute let 'The Breakfast Club Show' crew know that he was the one that gave Ross this idea. He had seen a lane that a lot of people weren't looking at, and was looking for someone to pitch the idea to since he knew he couldn't go into it himself. So, he took Ross to the Canes Film festival, and showed him how things were done. This is like Law of Attraction at work and the Universe putting things together, cos Dre Films had always said for years (during interviews) that he wanted to take his video directing to another level, and start shooting real movies. So, his wish has come to life. Let's see how things turn out in the next couple of months.
