Every Wednesday, we get statistics on the top selling albums out in the market; my blog is focused on rap music, so I am only interested in the rap albums out there. Below are the top selling rap albums on Billboard chart-
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis- The Heist- 42,000 (420,000)
Kendrick Lamar- "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City"- 16,000 (761,000)
A$AP Rocky- Long Live A$AP- 13,000 (272,000)
T.I- Trouble Man- 11,000 (411,000)
2 Chainz- Based On A T.R.U Story- 7,000 (557,000)
Wiz Khalifa- O.N.I.F.C- 6,600 (337,000)
Joe Budden- No Love Lost- 5,500 (53,000)
Chief Keef- Finally Rich- 4,900 (139,000)
Kutt Calhoun- Black Gold- 4,300 (4,300)
Game- Jesus Piece- 4,200 (206,000)
206,000 might be low for someone of Game's status, but I am really happy for him right now. The album is practically selling itself. He is not really promoting it...and it is still selling like almost the same weekly numbers as someone like 2 Chainz. It will be cool if he can make it to 400k.
