D12's Kuniva Names His Top 5 Dead Or Alive

D12 may not be on the scene any longer, but they were once doing their thing big-time with Eminem in the early 2000s. One of the prominent members, Proof died in 2006, and the group was dismantled afterward. Kuniva, another very lyrical member from the team was asked which rappers he considers Top 5 Dead Or Alive, and below is what he had to say-

Black Thought. He has to be first. He's got to be the illest emcee to touch the mic in my era. He's one of the illest. He's so slept-on and underrated and the best part is he doesn't even give a f*ck. Black Thought is like a hip-hop ninja.

T.I. T.I. is one of my all-time favorites. He's a lyrical cat. He's got a message and his delivery is just flawless to me. I gotta run with T.I.

Rick Ross. Rick Ross is definitely good. I'm feeling Ross right now. He's got to be on that list.

Jean Grae. She's crazy and doesn't get the recognition that she deserves. She's a sick emcee. I definitely have to roll with Jean Grae.

Royce Da 5'9. I'd put myself and Royce Da 5'9 in there. I gotta put my homeboy, my partner Royce in there. I love Royce. Royce is always slick with his. He's always got an ill presence on the microphone. He's my brother and he's sick, so I've got to support him. I've got to put him on that list. Ah man, wait, I want to squeeze Redman in there too. I love his addition of Redman. I think Reggie (Redman) doesn't get the respect he deserves...probably cos he plays on the mic too much. It is needed to remind young cats once in a while that Redman is one of Eminem's all time favorites for a reason.
