D'Prince Speaks On Concept Behind Hit Track- Take Banana

The Mavin Crew (Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, D'Prince, Wande Coal & Dr. Sid) put out their group album, Solar Plexus earlier on in the year, and no one would have guessed that D'Prince's Take Banana track would become the biggest track on the album...thanks to radio stations and Nigerian club DJ's. A lot of people translate the song in a vulgar way, but D'Prince has come forward to speak on how the song came about.

"I have this friend that's on a diet, and every time she comes to my house, she is always asking me 'Do you have banana?' The first two times she came to my house I didn't have banana. But the third time, I went to Park 'n' Shop and I bought a lot of bananas. I provided a lot of it, and she was happy and everyone was happy." (e-punch extra)

Hmm! Could he be telling the truth? At least it's better than Kelly Hansome's explanation for Maga Don Pay. D'Prince recently dropped the video for Take Banana, along with his debut album- Frenzy.
