Rap/Hip Hop Digital Singles Sales

Pitbull's Back In Time single is already Gold, with 560,000 copies sold digitally. The single sold 147,000 copies this week, and i see it achieving platinum status by end of the month. Flo Rida, who i consider the greatest selling rapper, in the "singles" category, sold 134,000 copies of his Wild Ones single, which features Sia. The track is heading for triple platinum status, and is at a current total of 2,420,000.







Mercy from Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz sold 66,000 copies this week, and now is at a total of 671,000. Lupe Fiasco's new single, Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free) made a debut this week, after selling 54,000 copies in its first week. T.I's Like That single also made a debut this week with 29,000 copies sold.


And the third debut this week comes from Rick Ross feat Usher, on a track titled Touch' N You. Personally, i love this track, and i see it getting bigger with a video release. I just wish Rick Ross would change the name of his album from God Forgives I Don't, to anything else.


Waka Flocka Flame's new single, Rooster In My Rari sold 16,000 copies in its first week out. Jay-Z and Kanye West just released the video to their single No Church in The Wild a couple of days ago, and the track moved 9,100 copies this week, to now stand at a total of 314,000 copies so far.
