Rap Albums on Billboard Chart


It's a slow week for hip hop on the billboard chart. Nicki Minaj's sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded still retains the top selling rap album status for this week. The album sold 48,000 copies this week, to now total at 383,000 copies after 3 weeks in stores.


Future's debut album, Pluto is up next with 41,000 copies sold after a full week in stores. Drake is still holding things down on the chart with his Take Care album selling 16,000 copies this week. It now stands at a grand total of 1,699,000...that is 301,000 copies from attaining double platinum status.


8,300 copies of Tyga's Careless World was sold this week to now place it at a total of 199,000. Young Jeezy's TM103 is still hanging in there, and it sold 7,000 copies this week. Jeezy's 4th album is now at a total of 567,000. Trip Lee's The Good Life sold 6,000 copies this week, and now is at total of 24,000 copies.


Jay-Z and Kanye West's collabo album, Watch The Throne sold 5,000 copies this week, and now is at a total of 1,417,000. OF Tape, Vol. 2 from Odd Future is now at a total of 69,000 copies after selling 4,300 copies this week.


Diggy's Unexpected Arrival sold 2,700 copies this week, and now is at 45,000 copies sold so far. Snoop's new EP, Stoner's EP makes its debut on the chart this week selling 2,500.
