It's a lovely video and i am still wondering how Nas pulled this off...i mean making a song with no hook his official first single. I love the track, but i can't believe the people at Def Jam let him put it out. I thought they would insist he make a song with a famous r&b artist or something like what a lot of rappers do nowadays.
I think it's great that Nas is back, and that he has a great buzz right now. All he has to do now is put up a release date for the album, and then complete it if he hasn't already done that. And maybe drop another single like a week before the release date. And it would be smooth selling for him.
Personally, i like this video because asides from the fact that Nas is rapping his ass off, he is also flaunting his jewels and looks, and that is another nice marketing angle, because most of the people who commented on this video on twitter where females. And as i have heard, females buy CDs. Do your thing nas!!! The best rapper ever.
