Ray J and Fabolous had some issue over the weekend after the Floyd Mayweather fight, and it so happened that 50 cent and Mayweather were standing by Ray J while the whole thing happened. Apparently, Fab had said some not too nice things about Ray J over twitter, and as he approached 50 Cent to holla at him, And Ray J used the opportunity of being in the company of two heavyweights to try and start up something with Fabolous. 50 Cent was there through the whole thing, and this is what he had to say-"[Ray J] pushed at [Fabolous]. Soon as he came, he tapped him on both shoulders and said, 'I told you my peoples weren't gonna like that.' Then, there was that swing he's talking about...There was a swing but it didn't land on nothing so you can't call it a punch. Ray J did swing at him [but] if he connected, [Fabolous] would have had a mark on him or something."
He also noted that Ray J may have been drinking before this took place."I think he had a little bit of juice in him. You know what I'm saying? I think Ray had a little something."
So, i guess we have the full story now. What blew this whole thing up was Ray J calling into Power 105.1 Breakfast Club show on Monday morning claiming to have punched Fabolous in the face. He did later call in, the next day to apologize and say he took it too far...that he lost control. I guess he was high on something; 50 Cent did say he most have been juiced up on something.
I listened to the interview on Hot 97 with Funk Master Flex where 50 Cent narrated the whole issue; he tried to be very diplomatic, but he did let some things slip. Like he talked about how he had to get in the middle of the whole scuffle because he was familiar with the guys Fab was with and he knew things would definitely get ugly. He also talked about how Fab was looking at him like- 'you need to put a leash on your dude, cos he is really thinking his tuff'; that kind of look. He also said fab said- "you are going to get this guy killed". Apparently fab was shocked that Ray J would have the nerve to even put his hands on him...whether he was high or not. Fabolous knew Ray J was probably drunk or high, and banking on the fact that he was with 50 cent, that he could get away with hitting Fabolous.
Anyway, Ray J has apologized, and said he lost control, so lets dead the story.
