Rap Albums on Billboard Chart

Lil Wayne's Carter 4 is still the highest selling rap album on the Billboard chart; it sold 117,000 copies this week, and now totals at 1,301,000 copies after 3 weeks on the chart. If it can steady around 100k, and sell that for 5-8 weeks, he would be double platinum in 2 months or there about.
Kanye West and Jay-Z's Watch The Throne sold 36,000 copies this week, and is now at a total of 872,000 copies so far. Bad Meets Evil (Royce Da 5'9 & Eminem) are up next with their Hell: The Sequel EP which sold 13,000 copies this week, to total at 529,000 copies.

Game's The R.E.D Album sold 12,000 copies this week, and is now at a total of 168,000 copies total. I think this is a very unfortunate case for Game. I know him for Taunting other rappers low sales in the past; i guess what goes around comes around. And, on a serious note, i do feel for Game, cos i am a big fan. I am very sure his last minute disses at Jay-Z is a major cause of his album flopping. Either Jay made some moves on him in the industry, or people were just pissed at him for going at Jay...a second time, and after saying he wouldn't do that again. I really think Game needs to get himself together.

Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday album sold 8,000 copies this week, and is now at a total of 1,581,000 copies so far. Planet Pit from Pitbull sold 6,800 copies to now total at 213,000 copies. Whole Truth from Rapper Da T.R.U.T.H comes in on the chart this week with 4,600 copies sold.
