He co-founded Reach Records, which he released his first album through, at the age of 25.
Real Talk, his first album, was released in 2004; although it did not debut on the billboard top 200, it debuted at number 29 on Billboard Gospel Rap category.
His second album dropped 2 years after; "After The Music Stops" dropped on august 15 august, 2006. The lead single was titled "Jesus Muzik", and the album was nominated for a Dove award.
By the time his third album dropped, he was already a household name. Rebel, his 3rd studio album charted on the Billboard 200 albums, which was a first for him. The album entered at number 60. The main single off the album, "don't waste your life", also did well on radio. The album spent two weeks at the top of the Billboard christian rap album charts.
Rehab is his 4th album, which dropped on sept 28 2010. It debuted on the Billboard 200 at number 16. It
There is talks of a Rehab: The Overdose, which is scheduled to drop in January of 2011.
I think anybody, regardless of faith, should get all Lacrae's collections. He is a talented rapper with a message to go with it.
