He was set to re-relaese a ne version of carter 3 with all new material, he was also meant to work on a complete album with t-pain" called "t-wayne", he also planned on dropping "the carter 4" this year, but all that has been changed, or atleast put on hold for a new direction in his music career. Lil wayne, like his counter-part, "kanye west", must be bored with just making rap, as he is set to drop a rock album called "the rebirth". The album is almost, if not already complete.
I do not know what to say about wayne's new decision, but i just wish him all the best. I wish he makes all the money he can right now, and i know it is not about money, he probably wants to do what he wants to do. I guess all human beigns get to a point in their lives when they feel they have done enough for the world, and want to do what they care about, or what they feel like doing deep down inside. So if at a point in his more than a hundred collaborations, he decided on what he really wanted to do next, then i wish him all the best.
The first single off the album is already on hiphopdx.com, and is titled "prom queen".
