Back in May of 2008, when Remy Ma had just started her 7 year jail sentence, Papoose went with his cousin and married Remy right there in jail. That was 9 years ago, on May 14th, and they celebrated that special day on Instagram 4 days ago.

Joe Budden Says Nicki Minaj is Not a Lyricist

Last week Thursday, Joe Budden got interviewed by DJ Akademiks, and they got talking about the Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma beef. Along the line of the discussion, Budden said Nicki Minaj's response to Remy Ma's Shether was weak, and that Nicki is not a lyricist. Do you agree with him?

“I’m saying Nicki put out three records. I was telling you that when you put out three records, not just the one diss, you’re rolling out now. This is your team; you’ve concocted this right. Them sh-ts came and went, and trust me, I’m dying to say something nice about Nicki Minaj and her music because I’ve been so hard on her, but those songs came and went. Nicki Minaj is not a lyricist. She should stop tweeting lyrics, it’s not helping at all, said Joe Budden."

Kinda true what he said about the songs coming and going quickly. I can't even remember the titles of the two other songs. No Frauds is not that a bad song though, it just isn't a great diss song. 

A$AP Ferg Gives Reason Why He Can't Take Sides in the Nicki Minaj Remy Ma Beef

Traplord, A$AP Ferg just did a song (East Coast) with Remy Ma, and some people believed he had taken the side of Remy Ma in the Nicki and Remy beef, but during his recent interview with Hip Hop DX, he gave the reason why he rides for both femcees and why he can't pick sides. 

“Nicki’s from New York. Remy Martin is from New York. I still call her Remy Martin. Nicki’s from New York. It could have been either one of them [on the track], honestly. … I can’t take no sides. It’s like both cousins.”




Cool. Cos, it is like every one in the entertainment industry is on Nicki's side. Celebs need to be neutral with that beef and let us fans pick sides. 

Remy Ma Hangs Out with Her Dentist

With Nicki Minaj dropping her No Frauds video yesterday, and making it clear that she still has a problem with Remy Ma, one would think that Remy would be in angry woman mode. But it appears she is just having fun with life right now. Yesterday, she posted pictures of her and her Dentist on Instagram, who she says she has known for 15 years.


Between this and the pics with Papoose (her husband) she constantly puts up, it is clear Remy is just happy to be out of jail and making money. By the way, she is currently working on her first solo album since after getting out of jail; "Seven Winters, Six Summers."

Remy Ma is the Queen of Rap Music

I don't care what anyone says, but right now, Remy Ma is the queen of rap. She successfully dethroned Nicki Minaj when she released her Nicki Minaj diss song, Shether two weeks ago. It took Nicki Minaj two weeks to respond to Remy, and she had to go get Drake and Lil Wayne on the song, so that their fans will also help get her more popularity. This isn't a popularity contest, neither is it about who has more money, or more friends in the industry...this is a rap battle, period! And right now, Remy Ma has proven without a reasonable doubt, that when it comes to rapping, she is better than Nicki Minaj, and this makes her the queen of rap.

Nicki Minaj's Response to Remy Ma (Pics)

Like 9 days ago when Remy Ma dropped her Nicki Minaj diss track (Shether), everyone thought we were going to have a lot of back and forth disses from the two female rappers, but Nicki has shown that she is not ready to go bar for bar with the Terror Squad first lady. In fact, in a recent interview, Funk Flex said he heard from a reliable source that Nicki said she wasn't going to give Remy any attention by responding to her on wax. Nicki might be playing it cool and all, but from all her recent moves online, it is obvious she wasn't expecting such a shattering blow from Remy, so she decided the right path to go was to respond by showing the world that she was not bothered, and thus she has resorted to posting multiple pictures of herself in very sexy poses.




I guess her response to the Remy Ma diss is to try and show the world that she is sexier, bigger, and more successful than Remy. Below are some of the pictures she has posted on her Instagram since the Shether diss dropped.

The Hip Hop world was hit with a bombshell on Saturday when Remy Ma dropped her Nicki Minaj diss record, Shether. The two female rappers had been throwing subliminal shots at each other for a couple of months now, but this Shether track which people are saying dismantled Nicki Minaj was very direct. Three days since it was released, and nothing yet from Nicki Minaj.

Nicki Minaj Called DJ Envy and Charlamagne Fake for Not Supporting Her Against Remy Ma

The hottest thing in Hip Hop right now is the Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj beef. A lot of Nicki Minaj fans have said Nicki wasn't taking shots at Remy Ma, but that is a lie. On Monday morning, on his show (The Breakfast Club show), Charlamagne said Nicki texted her and DJ Envy calling them fake and phony for supporting Remy Ma's Shether joint, but not supporting her own two diss verses thrown at Remy Ma days before Shether dropped.

Who Will Win a Rap Battle Between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma?

Although Remy Ma has denied in several interviews that she has no issues with Nicki Minaj, if you pay close attention to most of her recent lyrics, you would know that she has been throwing shots at Nicki non stop lately. So I want to ask you guys, who do you think would win in a lyrical battle between these two Femcees?


Let me shed a little more light on the shots Remy has been throwing at Nicki. On her and Fat Joe's Money Showers single, she rapped- 'Bitch claiming she the queen, what? Not hardly/Who the fuck gave you your crown bitch? Steve Harvey?" This is clearly a direct shot at Nicki, who has been claiming the tittle of  the Queen of rap music for a while now.

Tiwa Savage Working on a New Song with Remy Ma

Tiwa Savage is arguably the biggest female musician out of Nigeria right now. She has conquered Nigeria and Africa, and feels she needs to take on the American market. She signed a management deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation Management last year, and I am guessing this collaboration was part of the fruits of that move.

First Week Sales Prediction of Fat Joe and Remy Ma's "Plata O Plomo" Album

The duo of Fat Joe and Remy Ma have finally dropped their collaborative album, Plata O Plomo, and I want to attempt to predict what it would sell in its first week in stores. The album was meant to have dropped in the second quarter of last year (2016), but Fat Joe said (in a recent interview) he held it back because people on his team said he should allow singles off the album bring in enough money before releasing the full album. Th the first single off the album, All The Way Up has already sold over 1 million copies since it was released in March of 2016.

It is good to see the old Terror Squad back together again. Remy had her falling out with Fat Joe about 7 years ago and then went to jail afterwards. And DJ Khaled got too big for Terror Squad, but it is good to see they are back together again, and working on music. They went from friends, to foes, to friends again. Fat Joe signed Remy Ma when she was still in her teens back in the late 90s. They had a little falling out in the mid 2000s before Rem went off to jail, but everything is cool between them now, and they are even working on a new album titled, 'Platas o Plomo.' The first single off thejoint album is out now, and is titled All The Way Up.
