Lil Wayne and Eminem set new records, as was announed yesterday by Guiness. But it wasn't in relation to their rap skills. Hmm! I am sure you are wondering- 'for what then?'

According to Guinness, Lil Wayne's
Facebook page has the Most "Likes"
on a Facebook Item.
The rapper's fans posted 668,198
comments, in response to a post
made on February 15, 2011,
challenging the previous record set by Oreo cookies.
Lil Wayne's fans took the award away from the iconic cookie brand by posting over a half-a-million
comments, in less than 24 hours.

Eminem's official page is in the Top 5
pages on Facebook, with 42.5 million
"Likes," alongside major brands like
Facebook's own page, YouTube.com,
Zynga and pop artist, Lady Gaga.

So, i'm thinking; these 2 have to be the most powerful and influential rappers right now. Lil Wayne dropped an EP last year of 10 random songs that could as well be tracks on a free mixtape, and it is still selling as much as records that just dropped. Eminem just dropped the Bad Meets Evil EP, which debuted at number one on the billboard album charts. You have to consider that an EP debuting at number one, selling 171,000 copies in this times is big.

Considering the followership these two have, you can say they are the two most commercially successful rappers presently...beating out jay-z, kanye west and drake in my books.
