R Kelly Claims Lawyers are Using Evidence from an Old Case For His New Case

R & B musician, R Kelly is currently on trial for a 10 count charge of aggravated sexual criminal abuse, and in a recent interview with CBS's Gayle King, he said the lawyers on this case are bringing up stuff from a previous case were he was proven innocent.

Read his words below...

"People are going back to my past. Okay. That's exactly what they are doing; they are going back to the past, and they're trying to add all of these stuff now to that. To make all of these stuff that's going on now feel real to people."

The interviewer (Gayle King) then said..."But the past is relevant with you with underage girls."

Kelly went on to say..."Absolutely no it's not...Because for one, I beat my case. When you beat something, you beat it. We can't double jeopardy me like that. It's not fair. It's not fair to nobody. When you beat your case, you beat your case."

It's almost as if Kelly is admitting to having done those crimes from back then, but trying to say he is no longer the man from that time.
