Lloyd Wonders Why Nobody is Stripping Elvis Presley's Music Off Streaming Services

The first quarter of this year has been all about R Kelly and Michael Jackson's sexual molestation allegations. First it was the Surviving R Kelly documentary, and then the Leaving Neverland documentary popped up right after that. A lot of people believe these musical icons are guilty of the sexual molestation allegations. But some others believe that there are still a lot of people that have guilty of similar crimes that haven't had documentaries made about them maybe because of the color of their skin. In particular, singer Lloyd believes a lot of our past heroes are guilty of some of the same things we are accusing someone like R Kelly of, but that their legacies are still intact because there was no social media at the time, and we knew very little about what they were up to as they were not as accessible as artists of today.

Lloyd was at The Breakfast Club show on Power 105.1 when the discussion went in the direction of the R Kelly and Michael Jackson documentaries, and he was asked to share his opinion on those issues. He went on to say...

"It's easy to say things are white and black or whatever, right. Like, oh, all of our black heroes are being attacked, which is one perspective. I do think it's funny how, umm, because we live in the era of accessibility, we know so much more about people that we probably would never have known before. So i think there is a whole generation of individuals that we can respect and admire that we don't really know what they were doing behind closed doors. You know. I mean, and also there are instances that go overlooked I think on purpose like let's say Elvis Presley who I think married his...an underage girl."

At this point, Charlamagne the God cut in with, "Priscilla Presley at the age of 14. She also said he didn't like to date women over 15."

Lloyd went on with, "Yea, I mean, that was that era I guess. You could always say that, but that's not...that's crazy to me. I mean, nobody is stripping his music off of streaming services and boycotting his legacy, or standing outside of his home. Which may be the next step, I don't know."

The full interview is below. You can skip to the 16 minute mark to hear him talk about Elvis Presley allegedly being a pedophile.
