Nigerian afro pop singer, Wande Coal is about to release his second solo album, Wanted, and the album cover hit the internet a few weeks ago. I just got time to really examine the cover-art yesterday, and I was wondering if Wande knows that he is throwing up gang signs on his album cover. Yea, his name is Wande Coal...W C are his initials, but that is also the initials of L.A gangs West-Side Crips...W.C. And that's the sign they throw up. In the age of Internet, and with the world becoming smaller and smaller, do you think there is a chance Wande can get in some sort of trouble with this American gang, who might think Wande Coal is trying to align himself with them without any consolation.
Below is an east side crip throwing up his gang's sign. I couldn't get a picture of a west side crip throwing up a sign with his face covered. But you get an idea what I am talking about.
