I guess Dre presenting Kendrick Lamar with the Vanguard Award last week at this year's ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Award boosted Kendrick's album sales this week, and also got Dr. Dre's 1999 album back on the chart. Kendrick sold about 7,000 copies last week of his Good Kid, M.A.A.D City album, but sold 10,000 copies this week. Nice! I think he would hit that million mark by August...around the same time Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will also hit the mark with their The Heist album.
