Official First Week Sales of Rick Ross's "God Forgives, I Don't" Album

Rick Ross dropped his 5th album last week Tuesday, July 31st to be precise; and after a full week in stores, it sold 219,000 copies and debuts at number one on billboard chart. That is not bad, considering the fact that this is going to be his highest first week sales  since he dropped his first album, Port of Miami in 2006. And this is also going to be his 4th number one album...it was only his last album, Teflon Don (2010) that didn't debut at number one on the billboard chart when it dropped.

Personally, I think Deeper Than Rap (2009) is still his best album till date. But to all the haters...to all the bloggers that can't keep Ross's name out their mouth in light of any negativity...to all the people that are saying this numbers are dissapointing, you need to know that Rick Ross is the most hated rapper in the game, and in the midst of all that, he keeps winning. He said- "I just made 2 million off the compilation"- he said that even before he knew what the compilation was going to sell. That compilation album (Self Made Vol.2) is more or less a mixtape, and it has sold 201,000 copies, and still selling. That was released on his label- MMG, in partnership with Warner, so making 2 million off that is already looking like a reality. Once the sales get to 400k, and lets say he makes 5 dollars,  the CD that sales for 13 dollars...do the math.

That info is just for all the haters.
