Joell Ortiz Update Fans On New Slaughterhouse Album

If you love hip hop...if you love undiluted, pure hip hop, you would definitely love slaughterhouse (Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Roye Da 5'9 and Crooked I). They got signed with shady in 2011, and are about to drop their sophomore album- welcome to: OUR HOUSE. The last one was great, and i am sure tthis one would definitely be greater. In fact, i don't think i have heard a wack song from this crew. I think they are a phenomenal group cos all the individual members are unique, but their individual dopeness unites them.

Read what Joell Ortiz had to say about the slaughterhouse album below-

"We feel hip-hop is our house," Joell said in an interview about the title. "We feel like we're four of the dopest MCs on the planet and after this albums comes out, we feel everybody is gonna have to deal with it. You gonna have to deal with the fact that you might be listening to some dudes you can't be better than. That's the attitude we wanna have. When Ray LewisXXL Mag) and the Baltimore defense go out there, they say, 'you ain't scoring. That's it.' Nobody looks at them as cocky or crazy. But they just leave it on the field. We left it on this album. Y'all gonna love this album if you're a fan of hip-hop and lyrics." (

Below is information on the actual date the album is to be expected...

Slaughterhouse announced today the details of the group's new tour as well as confirmed that the title of their forthcoming Shady Records/Interscope album debut will be welcome to: OUR HOUSE. Executive produced by Eminem, welcome to: OUR HOUSE, to be released May 15, 2012, will be the second album from the creative collaboration of Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5'9'. New music will be made available next week for fans to get their first taste of what promises to be one of the most anticipated and explosive albums of the year. (PR Newswire)

Commenting on what Joell Ortiz said above, i think i am riding with him all the way. If not anything else, I think they are the dopest rap group out. It's like i have a favorite every other week. It might be Crooked today, then Royce tomorrow. Then i watch the B.E.T Cypher, and i am like OMG! Joe budden killed it. And i have always loved the humor that Joell brings to the table.
