Rap Albums on Billboard Chart

Drake's Take Care album still is the highest selling rap album on the billboard chart. It sold 73,000 copies this week to now total at 968,000 copies in just 4 weeks. That is 32,000 copies from platinum status.










The Roots new album, Undun makes a debut on the charts this week. It sold 48,000 copies after one week in stores. Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne album sold 20,000 copies this week and now totals at 1,144,000 copies so far. They are currently on a North American tour, so that should help the album keep moving units.The tour kicked-off on October 29, and the last date would be on Dec 18.


Wale's Ambition album sold 11,000 copies this week, and now totals at 281,000. Personally, i prefer the tempo of Attention Deficit (his first album- 2009) to this album, but it's still a pretty cool album.


Yelawolf's debut album, Radioactive sold 8,400 copies this week, to total at 62,000.
