J.Cole's Cole World: The Sideline Story got the number one position on billboard top 200 album charts this week, and Jay-Z came forward to congratulate his employee...J.Cole is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label.
“J. Cole’s success is testament to amazing artist development and Cole’s hard work,” said Jay-Z in a statement. “I want to congratulate him on a #1 album and more importantly a great body of work.”I also personally congratulate him, because it ain't easy to sell above 100,000 copies first week nowadays, and he sold 217,000, so that is a great. And to top it up, this is his first studio album, and he came in number one on the chart, so that is really a course for celebration.
