J.Cole's Cole World: The Sideline Story Projected to Sell 225,000 First Week

Roc Nation's J.Cole just dropped his debut album (27th Oct), and after a day in stores, Cole World: The Sideline Story is projected to sell between 225-250k first week based on first day estimates from hitsdailydouble.com. I think this is really impressive, because i had earlier predicted it would sell between 60-130k first week. And even at that, people that read it on my blog were saying that they don't think it would sell more than 50k.

You see, as well as J.Cole is respected as a young dope lyricist that has come to save hip hop, no one thought he would sell this much. I guess his two singles, Work Out, and Can't Get Enough, which are tracks for the ladies did the magic. You shouldn't forget that he has the looks, and it sure is the ladies that buy albums these days.

Yeah, and one more thing; i think the one dollar a ticket show he did last week helped out too. Anyway, i just have to say i am happy for his success, and congratulations to the whole Roc Nation team.
