The kid that proclaimed himself the best rapper alive alive, since the best rapper retired(talking about jigga's 2003 retirement), has definitely put in a lot of work to deserve it. He featured on more than three dozen people's songs and boost of charging between 50,000 to 150000dollars for each appearance, is that money or what?
He was given the award for the artist of the year at the just concluded mtv Europe music awards. His album is still selling after debuted at number one on the billboard earlier this year moving a liltle above a million copies in its first week alone. He promises a carter 4, even though his carter three album is still waxing strong on the billboard charts, currently at a total sale of 2.6million and still moving 30thousand copies ever week.
At his last month b.day celebration, his boss and c.e.o of cash money records brian "baby" Williams gave him a million dollars in cash for a b.day present, so you know they aint joking when they show money in all their video's.
He is planning a re-release of the carter 3 album with no old song. He plans to call it carter 3 prt 2 before the end of the year. Then in the 2nd quarter of 2009, he'll drop the carter 4. He is probably tring to rip all he can while he is hot.
