A lot of musician have started to use the vocoder in nigeria presently. I just heard a new ojb and jazz man olofin song, where his singing was worked on with auto tune.
If you did not know, a vocoder is an auto tune machine used in the studio to make your voice come out sounding electronic.
It is popularly used by american musician, t-pain, and also recently, kanye west. Lil wayne also uses it from time to time. Lil wayne's hit track, lollipop was done using auto tune, that is why he sounds like that. And i heard that it can be very addictive. Since wayne tested it, he has fallen in love with the machine. The same thing goes for kanye, where he is dropping a whole album done in auto tune.
I also so a new sasha video, where she uses auto tune through out. What is happening?
