Continental Five Names 'Top 5 Dead Or Alive'

50 Cent's cousin, Continental Five is working on getting his rap career off the ground. He got with SOHH recently and let them know who he considers 'Top 5 Dead or Alive" in hip hop history. Peep his list below-

Method Man. I still listen to his stuff. He went toe to toe with B.I.G. Not everybody can do that.

Redman. Lyrically, if you listen to him, he really gets busy. When he had his squad back in the day, he was always nice. He was, at the time, the old 50 Cent. He was real street and you could respect him on that level.

Raekwon. That reminds you of the old dude on the block. He's another one that's great. I think he had an altercation with B.I.G. I gotta give him respect.

Run-DMC. They're from the other side of Queens. They opened the door from everybody. They were the first ones going platinum.

Onyx. They're from the other side of my area as well. They were super dope. They were aggresive when everybody was doing the Brand Nubian stuff with the colors, they had the baldies out and the hoodies, all-black. They stood out a lot more than everybody else at the time.

Nice list. I have always thought Redman is underrated. He doesn't get the credit he deserves. Thanks for rappers like Eminem and Ludacris pointing him out as a source of inspiration earlier on in their rap careers.
