This Week's Highest Selling Rap Albums on Billboard Top 200 Album Chart

Although J.Cole's Born Sinner came in second place on the chart 3 weeks ago with Kanye taking number 1 spot, Cole has claimed a number 1 spot for his second album. Born Sinner is the highest selling album in the U.S this week. Congrats to J.Cole...two Number One albums already. Born Sinner sold 58,000 copies this week, and now puts Cole's second album at 439,000 copies sold in 3 weeks.

Chek out the rest of the list of highest selling rap albums this week on Billboard chart below-

J.Cole- Born Sinner- 58,000 (439,000)

Wale- The Gifted- 50,000 (208,000)

Kanye West- Yeezus- 39,000 (431,000)

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis- The Heist- 24,000 (890,000)

Mac Miller- Watching Movies With The Sound Off- 13,000 (138,000)

Kendrick Lamar- "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City"- 10,000 (859,000)

Lil Wayne- I Am Not A Human Being 2- 7,600 (511,000)

Starlito- Cold Turkey- 3,800 (3,800)

Jay-Z- The Black Album- 2,500 (3,516,000)

It's good to see Jay-Z's 8th album, The Black Album make a comeback on the chart. That's the advantage of having a lot of albums. Having a crazy catalogue always helps in the long run, cos people that hear your new album and like it would probably go out and buy old ones too. J.Cole would be Gold with Born Sinner next week, and would start the climb to Platinum...that's great, I am happy for him.
