Mack Maine Speaks on Pusha T and Lil Wayne Beef

Okay, let me run it down real quick- Pusha T dropped a track (Exodus 23:1) about two weeks ago, and had some subliminal lines aimed at Drake. Lil Wayne saw it as offensive, and tweeted- "fuck pusha t and everybody who loves him"...a couple of days later, he released a full length diss song going at Pusha T called Ghoulish.

Now, Pusha's Exodus 23:1 is getting a lot of love cos he just released a video to it, and things are really looking good with him. But what the world is waiting for is a Lil Wayne diss. Mack Maine, Young Money president recently spoke on the issue-

It's not like [a YMCMB/G.O.O.D. Music beef]. I don't see it like that," explained Maine. "That's not what we in the game for. If it ever came to that, God forbid, that's a whole different story, but right now we're just tryin' to get paper, we're just tryin' to get money, man, and make good music. And that was a great song ['My Homies Still' with Big Sean] that was made before that situation happened, and I'm not 'bout to go into the studio and tell Wayne to take [Big Sean] off. Wayne not tryna take him off - he's good peeps, he's fam...he killed [the song]. I think that's big for him. We're always collabin' with people and he earned it, he earned his way. He's been handling his weight on different tracks, and it's his time."

Of Pusha and Wayne's tiff, however, Mack compared the situation to swatting a fly. He explained that Pusha put Weezy F. in a position where he had to respond with "Ghoulish," but that he hopes the feud is dead after this.

"In a nutshell, if a gnat or a fly keep flyin' around you, eventually you gonna swing and swat it and just get it out the way," he said. "Sometimes you swat it and the gnat dies; sometimes it just go away...you can keep flyin', just fly somewhere else, though. We chillin.'"

Men! Sorry to all the Wayne fans out there, but he is about to get ethered for real. After the disrespectful way Mack Maine just spoke about Pusha T, Pusha will surely come at the whole camp hard. Trust me, i know how this thing go. And i am totally behind Pusha t on this one. Lil Wayne might be a more successful rapper, but Pusha T would destroy him in a rap beef. You don't believe me? The next couple of days will prove it.

I really am not about negativity in hip hop, but i see this as a friendly sport. Rap beefs always bring out the best in the rappers involved, and is always very entertaining. I really wanted the beef between common and drake to go on longer than it did, but this one is going to go on long no doubt. Just remember i said it. It is going to turn into a G.O.O.D Music YMCMB war.
