R.E.D Album At No. 1: Rap Albums On The Billboard Chart

The R.E.D. AlbumGame debuts at number 1 on the Billboard charts this week; even though this is his lowest opening week sales for all his studio albums, it is still a number one album. Game's The R.E.D Album sold 98,000 copies to be at the top of the billboard 200 album charts, and he sold 270, 373 to emerge the number selling album in the world this week. He was number one in Australia, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Watch the Throne from Jay-Z and Kanye West, the number one album last week, is at second place this week, with 94,000 copies sold. Not bad for 3rd weeks sales. It is now at a total of 707,000 copies so far. I see it going platinum (selling one million copies) by the beginning of Oct.

Hell: The Sequel from the duo, Bad Meets Evil (Eminem and Royce Da 5'9) are up next, selling 18,000 copies this week- now 481,000 copies total. Not Gold yet, but i see the sales increasing next week, as the video for the Bruno Mars assisted single,Lighters just dropped.

Finally Famous: The Album from Big Sean sold 6,600 copies this week, to now total at 196,000 copies. He has a lead single with Chris Brown (My Last), just like Game has Pot of Gold with Chris Breezy...i think Brown has been working real hard lately.

Ace Hood's Blood, Sweat & Tearssold 6,200 copies this week to stand at a total of 43,000 copies total. Funny enough, Ace Hood also has a single with Chris Brown, Body 2 Body, which i consider the best song on his album. Maybe the formula is now to use Chris Brown's influences to get into that younger market, and the female CD buying market as well.

Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka's collabo album, Ferrari Boyz sold 4,800 this week, and is now at a total of 28,000 copies sold so far. Tyler, The Creator's  album sold 4,100 copies this week to total at 108,000 copies sold. Royce Da 5'9 appears again on the charts, this time alone, with his Success Is Certain album, which sold 2,600 copies this week to total at 23,000 copies so far.
