"Finally Famous: The Album" at Number 1- Rap Albums on The Billboard Charts

Big Sean's debut album, "Finally Famous: The Album" is the best selling rap album this week. The G.O.O.D music artist sold 87,000 copies of his album after 7 days in stores. I listened to some of the tracks off the album, and i can say production is on point. It is evident, in his lyrics on the album, that he dreamt the whole life before it became a reality. I did a little research and i found out that in 2008, he dropped a mixtape titled "Finally Famous". In 2009, he dropped the vol 2, and in 2010 he dropped "Finally Famous vol 3". From this, you can see that he believed he was going to blow up even before he started getting recognition.

Bad Meets Evil 3rd week sales is at 42,000 copies, and the total of Eminem and Royce Da 5'9's EP (Hell: The Sequel) so far is 276,000 copies. As i said, this album would definitely go platinum; just wait till they record the video for "Lighters" featuring Bruno Mars.
Hell: The Sequel (Deluxe Version) [Explicit]
Pit Bull's "Planet Pit" sold 28,000 copies this week, with a total now at 83,000. "Weekend at Burnies" from Curren$y sold 23,000 in its first week in stores. Smif- N- Wessun and Pete Rock's "Munumental" is a new album on the charts this week, and it sold 5,600 copies after one week in stores.

Thank Me LaterI think the surprise is "Drake's Thank Me Later" album, which he dropped last year; June 15 2010 to be precise. Drake's debut sold 4,500 this week after a full year on the charts- the album has so far sold 1,417,000.
