DMX Says F**k Jay-Z

DMX is currently serving time, like he has been doing for the most part of the last 5 years, but his barks are still heard from behind bars. Fuck Jay-Z!!! That's what he is saying. Apparently, he was asked at one of his concerts, before he went in to serve time, about Jay, and he screamed Fuck Jay-Z! What may have warranted that? I don't know. I can remember an interview of DMX a couple of years ago where he talked about his present relationship with Jay-Z; like almost every other person that knew jay when he was on the come up, he didn't quiet like the new jay. In the late 90s and early 00s, Jay-Z, DMX and Jarule were the biggest sellers at Def Jam, and i know X and Jay had a cool rapport, so this is not good looking. In his (DMX) 2000 hit single, "what's my name", there was a part he rapped, "all this funny ass niggaz, running around, yapping about they be holding figures as big as jigga's"...that's definitely giving props to jay, so what must have gone wrong?


DMX even recalls Jay-Z calling him shortly after he (jay) got appointed as Def Jam president, telling him how they would be running things now. But, as he recalls, Jay got cold afterwards. You can read what he had to say below-

"I've not talked to him yet, since. But I had a show November 18th, before I got locked up--No November 12th I had the show. And somebody in the crowd was like 'What's up with Jay-Z' and I was like 'F*ck Jay-Z'. And it ended up all over the place. So he called Swizz [Beatz], Swizz called me, and he tells Swizz 'Yoo, why your man dissin me? I was gonna do a song with him'--Coulda, woulda, shoulda. F*cking bullsh*t. I don't wanna hear that sh*t. And like 'Yo, can you just get him to say he ain't mean it'--NO! I'm not saying that. What I did say is if he wanna talk to me, I'm man enough to let him know why it's 'F*ck You', but it's still 'F*ck You'! That's what it is. I'll let you know why, I can do that. It ain't like you gotta worry about me running up on you shooting you. It ain't that serious. You don't owe me nothing. But if you want an explanation as to why it's 'F*ck You', I'll be more than happy to tell you why." (VIBE)



Hmm! I guess we would have to wait and here what it is that jay did. I think old rappers don't really need any type of beefing right now. So i hope they get in touch and settle the whole issue, which might be something not worth holding a grudge over.
