The beastie boys are back on the charts, and their new album, Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 sold 127, 833 copies in its first week in stores. That makes the rap trio's new album stand as the number one selling rap album on the billboard charts this week.
Rolling Papers from Whiz Khalifa sold 19, 357 copies this week, and this brings his total so far for this album to 371,111. I wish him all the best on his journey to GOLD status, but i think he would have to drop another hot single from the album before he can do that.
Pink Friday sold 14,165 copies this week, and Nicki Minaj's debut album is now at a total of 1,356, 366. She is hanging in there, but i doubt she can't make it to double platinum. I think she has done good for herself already...i think maybe her sales would stall at around 1.6 million or there about.
I Am Not A Human Being by Lil Wayne sold 6,165 copies this week, bringing the total of the EP to 871,2888. This guy...i can't believe this album is still on the chart. First of all, it was not meant to be an album, and it is not a full length album...it was released first as a digital cd, and later released as EP. I think, from how long this album has been on the charts, that people are really waiting on his Carter 4 album. I wish him all the best. More money for Baby whichever way.
Snoop Dogg's Doggumentary sold 4,092 copies this week, bringing the total to 87,509 copies so far. And Wacka Flocka Flames'Flokaveli sold 3,471 copies, and the total now stands at 258,310. Diddy's Dirty Money album, Last Train to Paris sold 3,251 copies this week, and the total is now at 267,292.
