Game Talks R.E.D Album Release Date

Game has come up with another probably release date for his 4th album, R.E.D. As a big fan, i wish him all the best, but....read what he has to say before i say any more.

"I had a meeting with [Interscope head] Jimmy Iovine last week, and he told me the album was slated for the end of the summer, and it will not be pushed back any more than that. So we're looking towards late August," he says. (Billboard)

I hope this is the final date, because i am starting to fear that we might just have to wait till next year before getting the album. He was fine when he went off to Czar records after he left Aftermath/Interscope. He dropped Doctors Advocate and L.A.X right on time, with no delays, but as he is back with Aftermath/Interscope, he has little power to control the release dates of his albums. I just hope this would not affect his career, because he is not even mentioned in any of the top 10s again. I mean, he never makes any of the top ten list of rappers by any magazine or website anymore.

I know L.A.X and Doctors Advocate didn't do as much as The Documentary in sales, but if you are a Game fan, you know that L.A.X was just as good as Documentary. His first is still untouchable, but nowadays i prefer listening to L.A.X.
