Juice is a hood classic in America, and the four actors that were the main characters in that movie went on to have great careers. Tupac went on to be a great rapper/actor. Omar Epps went on to have a great career in Hollywood. Jermaine "Huggy" Hopkins and Khalil Kain also had great movie careers after that. Khalil Kain was on The Breakfast Club show earlier today and he got talking about Tupac when Charlamagne (one of the hosts of the show) asked him if Tupac was really the Tupac we saw in media. The actor talked about how Tupac was so dynamic because he spoke his mind at every given time.
Read what Khalil Kain said below...
"What makes him so dynamic is that he told the truth. You know...I mean, always. He was just going to be him, whatever that was that day, that's who he was. And we're not always the same everyday, some days we are in a bad mood, some days we do feel gangster, some days we do feel educated and erudite whatever. But, that's who he was. Umm. And he didn't care. I loved that about him. You know. I knew what I was getting."
I totally understand what he meant. A lot of people tried to say Tupac wasn't really gangster or this or that because he went to art school, but the man was just really a well rounded artist. He was a passionate artist that spoke about how he felt at every given time. And as Khalil Kain said, we are not always the same way every freaking day.
