Yesterday night, Empire actor/singer, Jussie Smollett was attacked while leaving a restaurant in Chicago. Two men approached him, yelling racial abuses and homophobic words at him. According to TMZ, they also threw bleach on him, and put a noose over his head before running off.
Smollett remains in the hospital, getting his wounds treated. Celebrities have taken to Twitter to speak on the issue.
