First Week Sales Prediction of Drake's "Views" Album

All his albums have debuted at number one on Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, and this one is not going to be an exception. In fact, this is going to be his highest debuting album so far. Drake released his fourth album, Views last week Friday (April 29th, 2016), and I want to attempt to predict what it would sell after a full week in stores.

Even the mixtape he released last year (If You're Reading This It's Too Late) sold about half a million copies first week, and has gone on to be certified platinum, so you know this highly anticipated fourth album has to do way more than that. His first album, Thank Me Later (2010), sold 447,000 copies first week. His second album, Take Care (2011), sold 631,000 copies first week in stores. His third album, Nothing Was the Same (2013), sold 658,000 copies in its first week. With how Billboard counts a particular number of streams as an album sale, I would say Drake's Views album would sell between 950,000-1,100,000 copies first week...plus or minus.

This is definitely going to be Drake's fourth number one album (all his solo albums have debuted at number one on the billboard. Also, his mixtape, If You're Reading This It Is Too Late debuted at number one). By the way, the album was previously titled Views From the 6.
