Meek Mill Says Jail Helped Him

I guess that restriction to freedom in jail makes a lot of people rethink their lives and turn things around. For example, Prodigy went into jail skinny, and came out buff and super healthy, same with Ja Rule. MMG rapper, Meek Mill served 5 months in jail last year, and came home to turn a completely new leaf in his life. In this recent interview with The Breakfast Club crew on Power 105.1 FM, he detailed how jail helped him.

During the course of the interview, he was asked by DJ Envy and Angela Yee if jail helped him, and he said...

"It helps get your mind together, cos you know, you're like 'i'ma do this time, then i'ma get out and get right.' That was the only thing...but you know, it helped me. I was lost...I was...I was at a point where I was like trying to keep it real with the streets and still trying to went with rap at the same. And you know, that ain't really what I wanna do. So, you know, God took me out that position. I end up being in jail for five months, came back, and still doing what I;m supposed to do. You know, and the blessings been coming ever since."

Yea, the blessings have been coming ever since for real. Can you imagine you going to jail, and within weeks after your release, you get the girl of your dreams. I think this his thing with Nicki Minaj will really help him. It will help him keep a level head, and stay focus on his career, and how to be more successful.
