Illbliss Speaks on The Success of Phyno's Debut Album (No Guts No Glory)

Illbliss is one of the few Nigerian rappers that stay consistent on the scene. He has been doing it for more than ten years now, ever since he got into the game with his rap group, Thoroughbreds. Things have changed a little with him since he started The Goretti Company, which manages all the artists on Capital Hill Music, but he is still a rapper first. One the artists he currently manages is Phyno, and in his recent interview with Hip Hop World Magazine, he spoke on the success of Phyno's No Guts No Glory (NGNG) album.

"Massive man! His album is getting so much rave reviews. The fans love the album ‘cos it’s very authentic. It’s exactly what they expected. And then, it had that very big single ‘O Set’ with P Square, it dropped at the right time. They supported the album, it took further prominence. It’s done really well. I mean considering where he (Phyno) is coming from, he started as a producer so NGNG is a massive album." (Hip Hop World Magazine)
