Big Sean Gets Award For 10 Million Singles Sold

Whoa! I didn't know Big Sean has sold that much singles. Last night in LA, he was honored by his label (Def Jam/G.O.O.D Music) for selling over 10 million singles. Big Sean has just one solo album out, and is promoting his second album, Hall Of Fame, which drops in two weeks. Songs by Big Sean that have added up to him selling 10 million singles include- Dance Remix (A$$) Feat. Nicki Minaj (over a million sold), Clique (over a million sold), Mercy with G.O.O.D Music (over a million sold), My Last feat. Chris Brown (Gold status), Marvin & Chardonnay (Gold status)...and some more.

Below is what Big Sean had to say about the achievement-

"I appreciate everybody for coming out tonight. It was an awesome night for me, celebrating Hall Of Fame coming out in two weeks. I hadn’t realized I sold 10 million singles. This feat is incredible, man. That’s an accomplishment. I’m a Detroit kid, man. In a city where people don’t make it out of; where it’s really slim pickings—especially if you’re doing music and things like that. Hopefully, I can be somebody that lets people know that it’s real; let’s people know that they can manifest what they want. I’m doing everything I can to give back to the city; everything I can to be productive. So I appreciate the recognition.... Thanks to my crew. Everybody, man. My parents. My girl. Everybody. Everybody who makes my life easier, I appreciate it. This Hall Of Fame album is definitely a piece to the puzzle of Big Sean as an artist. I appreciate everybody who is a part of it.”
