Katy Perry is smiling all the way to the bank. She just got a $2 million deal with publishing company for her autobiography, which is to be titled
Part Of Me. Why is she getting so much upfront for her book, you ask? Well, she is a super pop star, and she has a lot to spill. In fact, a close source to her said, and I quote-
"Several publications have been after Katy for a while. She decided to go ahead so fans don't have a one-sided story when Russell publishes another Booky Wook."
In case you don't know, she was married to British comic actor, Russell Brand from October 2010 to end of 2011 when they separated. He publishes a series of autobiographies named
Booky Wook, and is about to publish a new one that would have info on his marriage to
Katy Perry. So, she decided to let the world hear her own side of the story too.
Katy would also touch on her recent romance with soft rock singer,
John Mayer. The publishers would definitely make their money back in the first year of publication, and residual income for the rest of their life.
