That's all folks. The top ten selling rap albums for the week.
The sales of albums is actually counted from tuesday to tuesday of every week. So on Wednesday, the results are out. I get it on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, depending on some factors.
T.I is still sitting at the top, with a hot single on radio(Live your life ft rihanna). His total sales is at 1,178,455. He is still a long way from double platinum status, but he is slowly working his way there.
The second man on the chart is the man with the highest selling album for the year, thus far, Mr Carter, A.k.A lil wayne, a.k.a "weezy f baby". His album is at a total of 2,671,816. He is closing in on tripple platinum status. If Kanye's album, which is droping next week monday{24th} does not do some crazy numbers, then Wayne might as well have the highest selling rap album for the year 2008.
Young jeezy, who has another single on the way titled "my president" is at third place. The track actually features nas.
Q-tip, without a hot radio single, is holding it down at number 4 spot with his "the renaissance" album.
The Game, who plans to drop another single off his LAX album, "Camera phone" featuring neyo, is at the number 5 spot. Lets hope, since his song is a little on the mellow side, it would catch the attention of some lady fans, and boost his sales.
Else where on the track, nas climbs from number 10 to number 8.
