Keri Hilson Has Some Relationship Advise For The Ladies

Keri Hilson may not be a hot item in the music industry right now, but don't get it twisted, the girl is having a time of her life with her NBA Star boyfriend, Serge Ibaka. She is in love heaven. Last week, she put up pictures online of herself making a local African meal called "fufu." If you know how hard it is to make "fufu", you will understand how much in love she is right now.



She put some relationship advise out there that I think would profit a lot of ladies. It basically says, you are treated the way you present yourself.

“Interesting comments on my last IG (Instagram) post…quite a stir. But I don’t see the confusion. Ladies don’t get it twisted. It DOES start with YOU!! Unfortunately, every man doesn’t possess some standard high amount of respect for every woman they encounter…just as every woman doesn’t exude the same amount of confidence, class, or self respect. This is not a perfect world, where men treat “hoes” with the same respect they give “ladies” just because their mother taught them well.

Bottom line is, a man will treat you according to the “messages” YOU put out there. That’s the way of the world…reality. If you exude sex, you will attract men who want that from you. If you exude self respect, you will attract the type of men who respect women. In this world, you attract what you exude. Ladies, WE set the tone!! NEVER forget that!! We have the power to change our experiences w/ men.”

Keri Hilson Makes Some "Fufu"...A Local West African Dish

I don't know who Keri Hilson is currently dating, but I am guessing it is someone with roots from West Africa. She just put up a picture of herself making "fufu" on her Instagram. That's the picture you see below. Fufu is made from Cassava, and is eaten with different types of locally prepared soups. It is mostly enjoyed by Nigerians, Ghanians, and people from Togo. That quantity of fufu she is holding up is enough to knock out three healthy men. lol! It's so dense that it would sink to the pit of your stomach, and take a longer time to digest than most meals. Keri Hilson most really have put her back into making that. lol! It's a great meal. I love it, and many other West Africans do too.

Ciara, Diddy and Keri Hilson individually weigh in on LiLl Kim Nicki Minaj Beef.

After Lil Kim dropped her Black Friday track, which is a reply to Nicki Minaj's Romans Revenge track, the whole beef has pipped down. I was actually thinking nicki would drop another diss record. But it is possible in the near feature; she could use the opportunity of the romans revenge remix she is recording with Busta Rhymes to drop some subliminals. Anyway, a lot of people have been talking about the matter that i think would be worth reading.

Below is what songstress, Ciara had to say:

 "I love both women. I think that Lil Kim is truly one of a kind. Her moment that she had in music was amazing. I loved the aggressiveness of Kim's music, as well. It was very authentic. Nicki Minaj, I love her. I like her movement, energy, style. I like that she's being bold. She's breaking barriers and beyond. She's a female rapper but also has pop appeal. I think that's beautiful when any woman is able to do that. I'm not really a big fan of women not being able to get along in our music world, and in general. But I can still say a lot of great things about both ladies." (VIBE)

Below is what Keri Hilson had to say:

 "I don't really know what to think of that beef," Hilson said in an interview. "I don't put too much thought into it because you don't really know what's really going on. I know because I've had similar 'rivalries' and I know how much was spun by the media -- I know there's something there, I've seen enough to know there's something there but I don't know what to base it on. I'll say this, I respect both of them. Lil Kim is a pioneer for females in rap and rapping and being as vulgar and forthcoming as she was. She definitely was one of them and Nicki Minaj is doing her own thing. Of course she's said she was inspired by Lil Kim and we can see that. I don't think that means that they have to compete. You can be inspired by so much in life and still carve out a lane for yourself which is what Nicki Minaj has done." (Rap-Up)

And lastly, what Diddy had to say:

 "My whole take on the situation is that I love Lil' Kim no matter what's going on, no matter what's being said," Diddy said in an interview with Funkmaster Flex. "Kim definitely has a responsibility for my success. Me working with Nicki Minaj has nothing to do with going against Kim. When Kim works with other producers, when she raps with other artists, I'm not getting upset. It's not a problem...I think a lot of us who have been here for a long time including yourself, Flex, we have inspired a lot of people. We have motivated a lot of people, we have touched a lot of people in a certain way. We have been those cats that people aspire to be. I wouldn't be around Nicki if I ever heard [anything] negative said about Kim. I've never heard [anything] like that." (Hot 97)

Well, everybody is trying to be diplomatic...i don't know what to say about that. I do like the two artists involved, but i can say i would go with kim. Nicki is more pop, and i love her songs; she makes lovely concept songs, but for Hip Hop, it would always be the Queen B. But, i have to say that, after kim, it is Nicki, and this is coming from someone that has been stuck on hiphop since the early 90's.
