Eminem is a Rap god

This post has nothing to do with the Eminem song, Rap god, but was sure inspired by it. Yea, I think Eminem has attained the status of a rap god in Hip Hop. Remove all sentiment and reverse racism, and you got to agree that Marshall has paid his due, and deserves to be a god in HIP HOP. The other artists I consider rap gods in hip hop are KRS1, Rakim, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Snoop, Jay Z, Kool G Rap, Nas, Biggie, and Tupac.

Eminem has been in the game for 14 years, and dropping a 7th album this year in his third decade in the game is just a testament that the he deserves all the accolades he is getting. People don't usually want to give him his due because of his skin colour. Of course if he was black, he might not have sold as much albums as he has (he admitted this on The Eminem Show- 2002), but that doesn't take away his skill on the mic. He, Jay Z and Nas witnessed three generations of Hip Hop, and they are still a force to reckon with in hip hop till this day.




Eminem has been down, he got back up. He has been in beefs and lyrical wars with more than half a dozen rappers, and came out on top. He has a very successful career, and that hasn't affected his skill on the mic or his creative abilities. So, yea, Eminem is a rap god, and he definitely deserves the title. You think otherwise?
