Pastor Fired For Attending A Rick Ross Concert

A young Baptist pastor by the name, Pastor Rodney Wills was fired from his position at his church for attending a Rick Ross concert. The 26 year old was the youngest pastor at Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Wiston-Salem, North Carolina. Read the words of the church's deacon, Miles Langley below-

“We cannot have our leader supporting people of this world who are tearing down the kingdom of God. We know that many saints will have mixed opinions from our actions, but this is not how we do things here at Mt. Salem...We cannot have a pastor praising the world one minute then praising the Lord the next. Period." 















It is really a funny case. For some reason, I just can't imagine a pastor at a Rick Ross concert. It's just odd. But it is also funny that he was fired. He got to church on Sunday and found his name had been removed from his office door, and his packing sign had been taken down. Hmm! I am wondering what he would do now. He would probably grow his dread a little longer, and totally embrace 'the world.' lol!
